Only extend the tip 3 mm (1/8 in) — it does not retract — to avoid exposing the pencil to air and drying out the product. For precise shaping, use the “dot-dot-dash” method: place two dots on the upper lip's bow, a dash across the bottom lip, then connect. Replace the cap securely after use to protect the formula.
