Use a damp cloth to wipe the shoes clean. An unscented soap can be used to remove heavier marks, by rubbing into the mark, then drying with a dry cloth.

Items of homeware including bedlinen, mattresses, and toppers, and pillows must be unused and in their original unopened packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
