Referencing an archive document, Fringed Tulip Toile is a distressed batik style print transformed into decadently sumptuous bedding. Double-headed parrot tulips and roses appear in weathered form in this Smalt colourway of cobalt blue and beige. Aged yet still beautiful, antiqued yet grandiose. This design mimics the technique of extract printing, creating a lightened, almost bleached effect in the printed design. In the duvet, an oversized theatrical Oxford edge exaggerates the grandeur of this bedding, never forgetting it’s comforting, 250 thread count BCI cotton sateen plushness. This duvet set is complemented by a plain, cobalt blue reverse and matching, Oxford edge pillowcases, featuring the design all over and plain reverse. Sold as a complete set.
